StoneTech® Impregnator Pro Heavy Duty Impregnating Sealer is formulated with advanced, solvent-based new-generation polymerss to provide heavy duty protection to natural stone, tile, grout, marble, granite and other stones against tough oil & water-based stains.

  • Storage: Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
  • Coverage: Up to 1,000 square feet per gallon depending on type of stone, porosity, texture of surface and method of application.

    • Full Cure: 24 - 72 hours.
    • Surface Use: 6 - 8 hours.

    • Interior surfaces: 3 - 5 years.
    • Exterior surfaces: 1 - 3 years.

How to Use and Apply Impregnator Pro Heavy Duty Penetrating Sealer on stone, marble, granite, tile and grout:

  1. Keep out of reach of children. Use with good ventilation. No smoking.
  2. Read label directions and cautions before using.
  3. Always test in a small hidden or inconspicuous area with a 24-hour cure time to determine ease of application and desired results.
  4. Allow new grout installations to cure a minimum of 72 hours prior to application.
  5. Make sure surface is clean, dry and free of waxes and coatings.
  6. Surface temperature should be between 50°F and 80°F.
  7. Keep children and pets out of the area until surface use resumes or treated surface is dry.
  8. Clean surface with StoneTech Klenz-All™ heavy-duty cleaner alkaline cleaner and degreaser for stone. Rinse thoroughly and allow stone to completely dry.
  9. Mask off and protect any baseboards or adjacent areas to avoid splashing and overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated.
  10. Liberally apply an even coat of sealer with a paintbrush, paint roller or solvent-resistant, low-pressure sprayer. DO NOT USE A POWER SPRAYER.
  11. Allow to penetrate the surface for 15-30 minutes; denser stone may require more time for sealer to penetrate.
  12. During this time, distribute excess sealer over entire area to ensure even penetration.
  13. DO NOT ALLOW EXCESS STONETECH Impregnator Pro TO DRY ON SURFACE.
  14. Thoroughly wipe entire surface with dry cloth to remove excess Impregnator Pro Sealer from surface.
  15. For large areas, use a Bonnet.
  16. A second coat is recommended for porous or absorbent surfaces and should be applied one hour after initial application as directed above.
  17. Do not walk on surface for at least 4 hours.
  18. Full cure is achieved after 24–72 hours.
  19. Surface use may begin in 6-8 hours.
  20. If excess sealer was not completely wiped off and a residue appears, wipe entire surface with a towel dampened with sealer. Use a white nylon scrubbing pad to loosen residue and follow with white absorbent towel to remove.
  21. The solvent based technology allows you to quickly and easily wipe up any excess sealer on the tiles without any streaking or hazing issues.
  22. Rags and equipment that are wet with product may be combustible. Clean up promptly after job is complete. Clean equipment with mineral spirits and allow to dry in a well-ventilated area. Allow rags to dry in a well-ventilated area out of the reach of children and pets. When dry, dispose of in accordance with local waste disposal regulations.
  23. NOTE: Penetrating sealers such as Impregnator Pro provide protection against water or oil borne staining but cannot provide protection against etching.
  24. We strongly recommend the Stone, Tile & Grout - Cleaning, Restoration & Protection Set of Two Training “How-To” DVDs and the hands-on Stone Class at the Bane-Clene training center.

Proper Care of Stone Protected with Impregnator Pro Heavy Duty Penetrating Sealer:

  • To maintain the stone’s natural beauty, clean surface as needed with StoneTech Professional Revitalizer™ or All Purpose Stone & Tile Cleaner.
  • Highly alkaline, acidic, ammoniated, or abrasive cleaners are not necessary for daily maintenance and may also degrade the STONETECH sealer used, adversely affecting stain resistance.
  • For tough or difficult to remove soil use Klenz-All™ Cleaner, a nylon scrubbing pad or a long handled stiff bristle brush.
  • Please note: Prior to using any cleaning material on a tile, stone, etc. installation, test a discrete area or scrap piece of tile to insure desired results.
