With a neutral pH, Chemspec Oriental Area Rug Shampoo is safe to use on all fibers: cotton, wool and synthetic. Oriental Rug Shampoo creates a very thick and dense foam that quickly suspends deeply embedded soils from all fibers. WoolSafe approved, you can use Oriental Rug Shampoo with confidence on all wool carpets.

Dilutions and How to Use Oriental Rug Shampoo:
- Read directions and cautions on label before use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Especially for natural dyed rugs, always test the dye stability level of a small part of the rug, to see if the shampoo is safe to the rugs.
- Thoroughly vacuum rugs (both sides if needed).
- Dilution: Mix 8 ounces to 1 gallon of water (16:1).
- Agitate shampoo thoroughly into rug using a soft brush on a rotary machine until shampoo lathers.
- Rinse oriental rugs after cleaning with Brown Out® as the final step in cleaning.
- Hang rug to dry.
- CAUTION: Use product only in well-ventilated area.
- To avoid skin irritation or slip hazards, do not walk on wet carpets or rugs with bare feet.
