Un-Duz-It Unleashed is easy to use:
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Read label directions and cautions before using.
- Always test on a hidden or inconspicuous area first for color fastness.
- Find the Source: The use of an ultraviolet light, such as the one in Pro’s Choice Energizer Light, can be helpful in locating many protein-based odors, since these sources tend to fluoresce in the presence of UV light. Make sure that the light you use is of sufficient intensity to overcome the ambient light in the area in which you are working.
- Penetrating moisture detectors are also useful in locating some urine deposits especially in upholstery and carpet padding. In general, however, your nose and eyes are your best odor-locating tools! Look for residue and sniff for odors. Be aware that odor can be present in multiple locations in a building or vehicle. It is critical to locate every source
- Remove dry contamination and/or loose soil.
- Extraction clean or blot decontaminated area with white absorbent material.
- Rinse affected area with clear water and re-vacuum and/or re-blot.
- Remove as much moisture as possible by wet vacuuming or covering area with white absorbent material and suitable weight.
- Shake Un-Duz-It well before using.
- FOR HEAVY URINE CONTAMINATION:
- Thoroughly saturate affected area, making sure to effectively wet the underlayment, whether wood, concrete or padding.
- Allow to dwell for 1 hour. The affected area must stay wet throughout for the urine stain to be completely oxidized. The longer the dwell time, the better the results.
- Deep extract using cold or warm tap water. Depending on air humidity, use a carpet fan to dry the area.
- FOR LIGHT URINE SOILS AND ODOR:
- Dilute with one part of water (1:1 dilution) and apply as above.
- It can also be applied topically with a spray bottle for controlling urine odors.
