Stamp Pad Ink Stain on Carpet Removal
How to Remove Stamp Pad Ink Stain on Carpet
Stamp pad ink is extremely concentrated - a little goes a LONG way.
Simply blotting with a solvent such as Saf-T-Solv™ Dry Volatile Solvent Spotter or alcohol will make the spot larger and force the ink into the backing and make quite a mess.
Instead, use Pro-Solve Liquid Solvent Spotter and Stain Magic® Stain Remover.
Procedure to Remove Stamp Pad Ink from Carpets and Rugs:
- LIBERALLY wet the ink deposit and the area extending one inch around the deposit with Stain Magic.
- Apply Pro-Solve Liquid to the ink and gently, but thoroughly, agitate the deposit with a Carpet Shark.
- As deposit dissolves, the Stain Magic will remove its color.
- Alternate applications of Stain Magic and Pro-Solve Liquid as needed.
- Extraction rinse and blot dry to finish.
- Apply to contamination.
- Agitate gently to dissolve contamination and blot up with a dry, absorbent cloth.
