Cleaning Up a Gravy Spot or Stain on Carpet

1. Scrape up residue.
2. Blot with odorless mineral spirits or alcohol on a white towel.
3. Do not pour directly on the carpet or you will destroy the latex glue holding the primary and secondary backing together.
4. Blot with a solution of 1 teaspoon maximum of liquid HAND dish washing detergent per cup of lukewarm water.
5. Blot with lukewarm water with a white towel
6. Blot with a solution of 2 tablespoons of HOUSEHOLD ammonia per cup of water.
7. Blot with a solution of 1 cup of WHITE vinegar per 2 cups of water.
8. Blot dry with a dry WHITE absorbent towel.
