Directions for using Neutral Floor Cleaner:
Daily Maintenance of VCT Resilient Floors:
- Dust mop entire floor.
- Set out Caution Wet Floor Signs.
- Apply 2 oz/gal Neutral Floor Cleaner with a clean mop, rinse and let dry.
- Cleaning should be done with cold to warm water and Neutral Floor Cleaner. If hot water is used on a waxed VCT floor, it can cause the wax to come up with the mop and also gives the wax a cloudy appearance.
Scrub and Re-Coat:
- Set out Caution Signs.
- Mix 4 ounces/gallon of water and apply with a clean mop. Scrub floor using a 175 rpm floor machine with an appropriate scrubbing pad.
- Pick up solution with a mop or wet-dry vacuum.
- Pick up solution with a mop, wet/dry vacuum or other hard surface floor tools and rinse with a clean mop and cold water or a hard surface floor tool.
- Rinse with a clean mop and cold water.
- Let dry and apply 1 - 2 coats of Hi-Shine 25 UF Floor Finish.
