Marker Stain - How to Remove from Carpet

How to remove Magic Marker Stain from CarpetFelt Tip Markers Spot & Stain Removal from Carpet

FOR FELT TIP MARKERS:

  1. Apply Pro-Solve Gel Spot and Stain Remover to ink deposit.
  2. Agitate gently but thoroughly until deposit is dissolved.
  3. Apply Power Gel to deposit and agitate.
  4. Thoroughly hot water extraction rinse.

If stain color remains:

  1. Apply Stain Magic® Stain Remover for Organic and Natural Stains.
  2. Cover with damp towel.
  3. Heat with steam iron for 15 seconds (very risky - may bleach out carpet dye).
  4. Repeat if needed.

For Hi-Liters:

  1. If the stain is yellow or green, apply Red Relief® Stain Remover Part “A” only and agitate gently. Stain should disappear within 15 minutes.
  2. If stain is blue or red, apply Stain Magic and agitate gently.
  3. Stain should disappear within 15 minutes.
  4. Extract thoroughly and dry.

Regardless:

  1. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  2. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
