Insecticide Stains Removal from Carpet
Follow these Steps to Remove Insecticides or Pesticide Stains from Carpet:
Most insecticides (pesticides) permanently stain, bleach or discolor carpet fibers with little chance of restoring the carpet to the original color! Moreover, many are toxic, even deadly, and should never be used indoors.
- Prespray with Preface® Prespray/Traffic Lane Spotter at 1:10 with water and extract.
- If any residue remains, remove with Saf-T-Solv™ Dry Volatile Solvent Spotter.
- Spot dyeing color repair may be required.
- Carpet and pad replacement may be required for health reasons, especially if a pesticide designed only for outdoor use was used indoors.
