Graphite Lubricant Oil on Carpet Removal

Graphite oil stain on carpet is frequently found under recliner chairs, as shown in the photo below

Follow these Steps to Remove Graphite Lubricant from Carpet:

  1. Blot stained area with Saf-T-Solv™ Dry Volatile Solvent Spot & Stain Remover on a clean white spotting towel to remove as much of the stain as possible. Remove the remaining stain by following the next steps.
  2. Wet contaminated fibers with Pro-Solve Gel Spot and Stain Remover.
  3. Agitate gently but thoroughly to dissolve contamination.
  4. Allow dwell time.
  5. Apply Power Gel to contaminated fibers.
  6. Again agitate gently but thoroughly.
  7. Very thoroughly rinse clean using hot water extraction.
  8. Leave as dry as possible.
  9. Leave some Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on the area to prevent wicking.
