Descaler for Carpet Cleaning Truckmount Solution Water Tanks

Descaler for Descaling Truck Mount Carpet Cleaning Solution Water Tanks

from Bane-Clene® Corp.

When hard water is heated in your solution tank, the hardness minerals are re-crystallized to form hardness scale. Hardness scale reduces efficiency of your Bane-Clene carpet cleaning truckmount and can eventually clog your cleaning tool nozzles and damage your water pump and immersion heater. Descaler removes these hard water deposits in the water detergent tanks.

Descaler to Clean out Solution Tank

Image above shows an immersion heater and filter that are scaled up. An immersion heater that is covered with water hardness scale will not heat up the detergent tank effectively and may burn out prematurely. Of course, scale on filters can block detergent solution flow, decreasing pressure.

Bane-Clene Truckmount Descaler removes hard water deposits from truck mount solution tank, fittings, filters and water lines. With regular use of this product, you will see an improvement in the water heating and flow of your cleaning equipment. Bane-Clene Truckmount Descaler effectively removes calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, iron stains, undissolved powdered detergent residue and scale from your cleaning tank. Scale, mineral deposits and undissolved cleaning powder can cripple your truckmount, quick disconnects, and hoses! If left untreated over time, not descaling can result in major repair costs and lots of down time.

Directions for Removing Hard Water Scale from Truckmounted Carpet Cleaning Machines’ Clean Water Tank:

  1. Completely empty solution tank and flush out as much loose scale as possible.
  2. Fill up the solution tank with plain hot water and heat to 180 degrees F.
  3. Pre-dissolve 2 pounds Descaler by slowly sprinkling while stirring into a 5-gallon pail. 5 pounds may be required for severe scale formation.
  4. Add to solution tank.
  5. Drive the truck for at least one mile to allow the solution to “slosh” around in the tank and loosen the scale.
  6. Drain solution.
  7. Rinse tank with water.
  8. Fill tank with water and add detergent solution to neutralize the acid.
  9. Circulate cleaning solution at least 5 minutes to ensure complete neutralization of the acid.
