Concrete on Carpet
Cement and Concrete Removal from Carpet
Fresh Cement on Carpet:
- Scrape up as much as possible before the cement dries and sets up.
- If extracted out quickly with Brown Out® at 4-8 ounces per gallon, fresh cement will usually come out.
- Cement is highly alkaline.
- Once cement has set up and hard, it is much more difficult to remove.
Hardened Cement on Carpet:
- Break up the hardened cement with a hammer until it is a fine dust and vacuum.
- Then extract with Brown Out at 4-8 ounces per gallon.
- To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
- The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
