Concrete on Carpet

Cement and Concrete Removal from Carpet

Fresh Cement on Carpet:

  1. Scrape up as much as possible before the cement dries and sets up.
  2. If extracted out quickly with Brown Out® at 4-8 ounces per gallon, fresh cement will usually come out.
  3. Cement is highly alkaline.
  4. Once cement has set up and hard, it is much more difficult to remove.

Hardened Cement on Carpet:

  1. Break up the hardened cement with a hammer until it is a fine dust and vacuum.
  2. Then extract with Brown Out at 4-8 ounces per gallon.
  3. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  4. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
