How to Remove Cherry Juice Spot and Stain from Carpet and Rugs

If the spill is large, have your customer leave moist weighted towel on spill overnight before attempting removal. This will greatly improve the likelihood of removal.

  1. Absorb.
  2. Extract.

If the spill is extremely heavy:

  1. Use the Water Claw® Sub-Surface Spot Lifter Sub-Surface Spot Lifter to more thoroughly flush out the spill.
  2. Heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  3. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.

If some of the stain is still visible or is old:

  1. Mix Pro-Zyme according to directions on bottle.
  2. Apply solution to stained fibers to thoroughly wet fibers.
  3. Gently but thoroughly agitate fibers to break up and emulsify deposit.
  4. Dwell time will help the biochemistry work for you here.
  5. If stain persists, use Stain Magic® Stain Remover for Organic and Natural Stains.
  6. Of course, if the stain is on solution dyed nylon or on 100% olefin, you can apply chlorine bleach diluted 1:5 with water followed by THOROUGH rinsing and dry blotting
  7. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  8. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
