If the spill is large, have your customer leave moist weighted towel on spill overnight before attempting removal. This will greatly improve the likelihood of removal.
- Absorb.
- Extract.
If the spill is extremely heavy:
- Use the Water Claw® Sub-Surface Spot Lifter Sub-Surface Spot Lifter to more thoroughly flush out the spill.
- Heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
- The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
If some of the stain is still visible or is old:
- Mix Pro-Zyme according to directions on bottle.
- Apply solution to stained fibers to thoroughly wet fibers.
- Gently but thoroughly agitate fibers to break up and emulsify deposit.
- Dwell time will help the biochemistry work for you here.
- If stain persists, use Stain Magic® Stain Remover for Organic and Natural Stains.
- Of course, if the stain is on solution dyed nylon or on 100% olefin, you can apply chlorine bleach diluted 1:5 with water followed by THOROUGH rinsing and dry blotting
- To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Absorbent Powder on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
- The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
