Cheese Spot & Stain Removal from Carpets and Rugs

Cheese Spot & Stain Removal from Carpets and Rugs

Procedure to Remove Cheese:

  1. IMPORTANT: Do not use high temperature cleaning or heat activated stain removal procedures on these types of stains.
  2. Scrape up any loose material
  3. Mix Pro-Zyme Heavy Soil & Grease Digester by Pro’s Choice according to directions on bottle.
  4. Apply Pro-Zyme solution to stained fibers to thoroughly wet fibers.
  5. Gently but thoroughly agitate fibers to break up and emulsify deposit. Dwell time will help the biochemistry work for you here.
  6. Thoroughly rinse via water extraction leaving carpet as dry as possible (do not use an acid rinsing agent here).
  7. Apply Stain Blotter Anti-Wicking Powder to absorb any wicking that might occur during drying.
  8. When spot is completely dry, vacuum thoroughly.
  9. Also, you may experience wicking on heavier deposits. If deposit is heavy enough to have soaked through backing and into pad, replace the contaminated pad and clean carpet backing.
  10. TIP: Stain 1 Stain Remover for Organic and Natural Stains will make most re-occurring stains disappear.
