Candle Wax Spot & Stain Removal from Carpets and Rugs

For undyed candle:

  1. Using a pair of Bane-Clene Duckbill Napping Shears, vertically, cut the wax up into smaller pieces and then scrape up as much wax as possible.
  2. Place a DAMP white terry cloth over the area. Warm up an iron to the medium setting. Set the hot iron onto the towel for about 30 seconds to melt the wax and absorb the wax into the towel. Repeat if necessary. CAUTION: Do not use this on wool or olefin carpet. This process can remove color.
  3. Use Saf-T-Solv™ Dry Volatile Spotter to remove any remaining residue.
