  1. Scrape up residue.
  2. Blot dry with a dry WHITE absorbent towel.
  3. Blot with a WHITE absorbent towel saturated with white vinegar to neutralize the ammonia released as bacteria on the urine.
  4. Weight down the towel with a flat heavy object and remove the next day.
  5. Severe cases will require pad replacement cleaning and deodorizing the backing cleaning and deodorizing and sealing the underlayment.
  6. NOTE: On wool, urine frequently bleaches out the dyes or makes them “bleed”, especially if not immediately treated.
