Other individuals or companies, not affiliated with Bane-Clene Corp., may advertise used Bane-Clene machines, often on the internet. Please be aware that such equipment may be equipped with non-Bane-Clene components and often is given little more attention than a quick application of spray paint. Any warranty offered with these carpet cleaning machines is not supported by Bane-Clene Corp. and should be viewed with skepticism.
Extended warranties are now available on remanufactured Bane-Clene units.

- NON-BANE-CLENE EQUIPMENT: These are traded in on Bane-Clene equipment and are sold "As Is". There is no warranty on this equipment.

Attention: New owners who purchased equipment on the open market and not from Bane-Clene or its authorized service and supply centers:
- Bane-Clene Corp. welcomes you to attend our management training school.
Please call 800 428 9512 for schedule and tuition fees. - Service on your equipment is available in Indianapolis, Indiana and at Hackettstown, New Jersey service center.
- It is strongly recommended that you purchase an operator's manual and the maintenance training tapes or DVD's before calling with specific questions.
- We cannot and will not give training and equipment instruction on the phone.
Suggestions if you are buying used Bane-Clene equipment from an unauthorized source:
- Ask seller for clean bill of sale and be sure equipment is not encumbered by a lease, financing agreement or a lien of any kind..
- Require the serial number and model number of the unit.
If the serial number has been removed or altered, the unit is probably stolen. - Require the seller to demonstrate the equipment to be sure it is in working order and meets your expectations.
- Require the seller to demonstrate equipment maintenance, locate filters and explain the gauges.
If the gauges are not operable, require the seller to replace them.
Working gauges are critical in assessing equipment performance.
