from Rugs, Upholstery and Carpet

  1. If a fresh spill and not very heavy:
    1. Blot up.
    2. Use Liquid Pro-Solv.
  2. If it has dried:
    1. Blot with acetone.
    2. If this fails, the affected carpet section may have to be replaced.
  3. Moisture-cured urethanes can only be removed with very strong paint strippers containing acid activated methylene chloride, which is toxic and will definitely delaminate the carpet.
