Shoe Polish Stain Removal

  1. Liquid Shoe Polish:
    1. Absorb.
    2. If an extremely heavy spill, use Stain Blotter to on area overnight to absorb as much as possible.
    3. You can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
    4. Apply a bead of the Pro-Solve Gel to the area to be treated, agitate, apply a bead of Power Gel, agitate and extract.
    5. Use the Water Claw® Sub-Surface Spot Lifter to more thoroughly flush out the spill.
    6. If any stain remains, use the Stain Magic™ system.
    7. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
    8. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
  2. Paste Shoe Polish:
    1. Paste shoe polish is primarily colored wax (like a crayon or candle). The colors come from pigments dispersed in the wax such as carbon black (soot) for black.
    2. Scrape off excess.
    3. Absorb with heated iron onto dry towel.
    4. Apply a bead of the Pro-Solve Gel to the area to be treated, agitate, apply a bead of Power Gel, agitate and extract.
    5. If any stain remains, use Stain Magic™.
    6. If stain persists, use Red Relief
  3. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  4. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
