• Temporary protection plastic carpet film, sometimes called carpet cover, features a pressure sensitive water-based self adhesive system for new build, repair, conversion and refit to replace more traditional materials such as drop cloths, tarps, visqueen and herculite.
• Unfortunately, the adhesive frequently transfers to the carpet and doesn’t fully come off in normal cleaning, in spite of claims by the manufacturers. Addtionally, discoloration and even dye loss can occur on the carpet under the plastic runner.
• Apply undiluted Citrus APS™, scrub, and extract. A second application and cleaning may be required later.
