Milk Spot & Stain Removal from Carpets and Rugs

Spilled Milk Spot

  1. If heavy spill, have customer put down a weighted moist towel overnight.
  2. Apply Pro-Zyme Spotter heavily (must get to the pad if it was a heavy spill).
  3. In exteme cases, replacing contaminated pad may be necessary!
  4. Gently but thoroughly agitate fibers to break up and emulsify deposit.
  5. Allow dwell time - at least 30 minutes, overnight if heavy..
  6. Thoroughly extract leaving carpet as dry as possible (do not use an acid rinsing agent here).
  7. If extremely heavy, use the Water Claw® Spotter Sub-Surface Spot Lifter to more thoroughly flush out the milk.
  8. Get as dry as possible.
  9. To prevent odor development from any trace of milk left behind, apply MicroBan® Disinfectant Spray or Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution.
  10. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  11. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day. .
