Kool-Aid
  1. Scrape up any solid material.
  2. Extract.
  3. ONLY If on solution dyed nylon or olefin, apply chlorine bleach diluted 1:5 with water followed by thorough rinsing and dry blotting. Otherwise, use the following procedures.
  4. If some dye is still present, Stain Magic™ treatment may be required.
  5. For WET food dyes such as Kool-Aid® and fruit punch on nylon, use Red Relief or Red 1.
  6. To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
  7. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
  8. For DRY food dyes such as some Easter egg dye powders:
    1. Thoroughly vacuum up before proceeding with any wet techniques.
    2. Blot with alcohol until no more dye comes up.
    3. Blot with cold water.
    4. Dry blot until no more dye is removed.
