Gentian violet belongs to the group of medicines called antifungals. Topical gentian violet is used to treat some types of fungus infections inside the mouth and of the skin. However, it severely stains fabrics such as carpet, rugs and upholstery.

  1. Absorb.
  2. Blot with alcohol.
  3. Blot with APS™ All Purpose Spotter.
  4. Flush with water or extract.
  5. Dry blot
  6. Stain Magic™ treatment may be required.
