Epoxy Spot & Stain Removal
from Carpets and Rugs

  1. If a fresh spill and not very heavy:
    1. Blot with Saf-T-Solv™.
  2. If it has dried:
    1. Blot with acetone.
    2. If this fails, the affected carpet section may have to be replaced.
  3. Some epoxies can only be removed with acetone, which is toxic, highly flammable and will definitely delaminate the carpet. DO NOT use acetone on acetate fibers!
