Removal Guide

from Bane-Clene®

  1. It is EXTREMELY important that you not get this material wet initially!
  2. Vacuum very thoroughly, working from the outside toward the center to keep from spreading the material (no brush initially).
  3. Then vacuum with the brush or pile lift. Pile lifting is too aggressive on Frieze style carpet.
  4. Apply FSR Filtration Soil Remover or Power-Gel, agitate, very thoroughly extract, and dry blot to avoid wicking.
  5. Lightly brush or groom to align fibers.
  6. If discoloration remains, apply Pro Solve Gel using a trigger sprayer and agitate gently followed by extraction.
  7. If a heavy spill, use Stain Blotter to prevent wicking.
  8. The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
  9. Of course, if the customer has tried to remove it before you arrived or a herd of elephants has walked on the carpet and ground in the material, you are unlikely to remove it all.
