Calamine® Spot & Stain Removal from Carpets and Rugs

- Calamine lotion is an external medication for poison ivy, etc.
- Calamine lotion usually contains calamine, zinc oxide, clay, calcium hydroxide (lime), glycerin and water.
- Scrape up as much of the Calamine spill as possible, if still wet.
- Thoroughly extract.
- If any of the Calamine lotion remains, blot with alcohol, blot with undiluted Brown Out®, blot with damp towels and blot with dry towels.
- To prevent wicking, heavily sprinkle Stain Blotter on area to absorb any material that wicks up.
- The customer can vacuum up the Stain Blotter the next day.
