Ball Point Ink Pen
and
Stamp Pad Ink
Spot & Stain
Removal

from Bane-Clene®

  • This problem is nearly always from the same source - a dog chews up a ball point pen and creates a mess on the carpet!
  • Ball point ink is extremely concentrated - a little goes a LONG way.
  • Simply blotting with a solvent such as Saf-T-Solv™ or alcohol will simply make the spot larger and force the ink into the backing and make quite a mess.
  • Instead, use Pro-Solve Liquid and Stain Magic.
  • Procedure :
    1. Ink Removal: LIBERALLY wet the ink deposit and the area extending one inch around the deposit with Stain Magic.
    2. Apply Pro-Solve Liquid to the ink and gently, but thoroughly, agitate the deposit with a Carpet Shark.
    3. As deposit dissolves, the Stain Magic will remove its color.
    4. Alternate applications of Stain Magic and Pro-Solve Liquid as needed.
    5. Extraction rinse and blot dry to finish.
    6. General Usage: Apply to contamination. Agitate gently to dissolve contamination and blot up with a dry, absorbent cloth.
