Labels for Sprayers and Spray Bottlesfrom Bane-Clene®Under OSHA’s hazard communication standard, the employer is required to provide employee training on the safe use of chemicals. The standard also requires that all chemical containers have the proper label that identifies the basic information such as the product name and appropriate hazard warnings. In addition, an employee has the right to see the Material Safety Data Sheet for the product. The MSDS contains more detailed information on the products ingredients and other heath and safe handling information. NOTE: Under EPA regulations, we cannot supply any labels for any EPA registered products such as Microban, Steri-Fab or Sporiciding! Be sure to keep a full set of MSDS sheets in the van in a 3-ring binder in alphabetical order where the driver can reach them WHILE BUCKLED! Label portable containers such as sprayers, spray bottles, mixing containers, etc. when they are not for "immediate use." Portable containers require no labels when chemicals are transferred into them from labeled containers and when the chemicals will be used immediately by the employee transferring the chemicals.
