McDonald® franchises go for half a million to one million dollars. Franchises in the carpet cleaning industry charge initiation fees of $4,000 to $100,000. Janitorial services are usually less than $15,000. Franchise requirements may include buying supplies from a franchisor and royalties can range from 3% to 15% of gross income in addition to advertising fees. Bane-Clene system owners can put any number they wish on what a hypothetical franchise might cost. Then they can put that money in the bank!
