UPT+ dissolves and assists in removing pet urine deposits from carpets and rugs.
Urine Pre-Treatment UPT+ is a slightly acidic detergent to dissolve and assist in removing cat and dog urine deposits from carpets and rugs. Because of this, UPT+ quickly and dramatically reduces the odor emanating from urine contamination. You can use UPT+ on rugs, carpet and subfloor surfaces that are extremely contaminated.
UPT+ performs two important functions to pet urine odor removal:
- It quickly dissolves urine salts and associated contamination.
- It inhibits the production of ammonia.
Directions for eliminating pet urine from carpets and rugs with Urine Pre-Treatment UPT+:
- Dilute 1 part UPT+ to 3 parts water. (For extremely heavy deposits, use full strength).
- Apply solution liberally to urine deposit. Agitate. Allow to dwell for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Steam clean extract thoroughly.
- Remember the better you clean out the urine deposit, the more successful your odor removal will be.
- When cleaning is complete, liberally apply Molecular Modifier.
- IMPORTANT: This product has strong vapors and should only be used in a well ventilated area. Do not use this product in occupied buildings.
- Wear a respirator during the application and thoroughly rinse contaminated area using hot water extraction following application.
