Preface® Prespray / Traffic Lane Spotter
Improves cleaning while
reducing the risk of overwetting
from Bane-Clene®
Preface is the primary Bane-Clene prespray. It may be used on stain-resist carpet and as a prespray when wet-cleaning upholstery. The primary ingredient is Emulon®, an emulsifier system developed by Bane-Clene to emulsify the oil and grease in fibers.
Upholstery fabrics and oriental rugs should be tested for color fastness.
Preface is a tremendous carpet and upholstery pre-spotter. Oil and grease are quickly emulsified, and water-based stains pop out with ease when Preface is used. It is the answer to dissolving grease on restaurant carpets, soot rings on carpets around floor vents, and oily compounds found on upholstery.
Preface is a super-concentrated blend of synergistic emulsifiers and water-soluble, non-hydrocarbon solvents designed to safely remove heavily compacted oil, grease, and all water-soluble soils. It also contains revitalizing softening agents.
Originally developed for dissolving body oils on upholstery, Preface prespray greatly improves cleaning while reducing the risk of overwetting, browning, and shrinkage. It is specially designed for use on colorfast textiles and should not be used on textiles that require dry cleaning, nor should it be used undiluted.
Preface is safe for stain-resistant nylon fibers, most natural fibers, and prints.
Preface does not contain hydrocarbons, caustic alkalis, chlorinated solvents, or Butyl Cellosolve.
Directions:
Test all fabrics for colorfastness. Apply Preface 5-10 minutes before cleaning. Dilute 10 parts of water to 1 part Preface (13 ounces per gallon) in a pump-up stainless steel sprayer OR preferably apply through an Injection Sprayer. The Injection Sprayer is connected to your solution hose in place of the floor tool so that the solution coming through is hot. Under extreme soil conditions, may be diluted 4 parts water to 1 part Preface.
Use Concentration: 1:10 with water.
Use pH: 9
NOTE: Use TLS® 2000 Heavy-Duty Prespray / Traffic Lane Spotter for most commercial work.
