Laminate Flooring is a rigid floor covering with a surface layer consisting of one or more thin sheets of a fibrous material, impregnated with thermosetting resins. These sheets are pressed as such on a substrate. This product is normally finished with a backing primarily used as a balancing material. The surface wear layer on synthetic laminates such as Pergo® is typically aluminum oxide. The pattern of the flooring is a photograph applied to a melamine laminate.
Laminate flooring is generally easy to keep clean. Routine cleaning requires just vacuuming, dusting with a clean microfiber mop cloth to prevent loose dirt or grit from scratching your floor's finish.
Use LamanatorPlus Buff Dry Cleaner and Revitalizer and a microfiber mop to remove foot marks and most dirt and keep laminate and wood floors shining.
Never use excessive amounts of water on a laminate floor. Never use scouring substances, abrasive cleansers, paste waxes, oils or any floor polishes on a laminate floor. If the floor becomes very dirty or stained, use LamanatorPlus Laminate Deep Scrub for a deep cleaning.
Footprints and dirt easily wipe away with a mist of LamanatorPlus Revitalizer. For laminate and wood flooring, always remove any wet spills immediately to avoid liquid penetration into the seams. LamanatorPlus Restoration works to seal seams and joints between floor boards.
Felt pads should always be affixed to the base of all furniture legs and drip trays should be placed underneath potted plants. Any movable furniture should be fitted with wide, rubber rollers. Always use protective mats at entrances and in heavy traffic areas.

Three easy steps to restoring the beauty of laminate flooring:
- Clean the laminate or hardwood floor using LamanatorPlus Deep Scrub.
- Apply LamanatorPlus Laminate Restoration for the finishing touch and a sparkling shine.
- Maintain the floor with LamanatorPlus Buff Dry Cleaner and Revitalizer.
LamanatorPlus DeepScrub removes oils, waxes, any previously used products and other contaminates and prepares a well worn or dirty floor for the process of restoration. Deep Scrub easily removes oils, factory dirt and grime. Using Deep Scrub also allows LamanatorPlus Restoration to properly adhere to floor - you'll never get any peeling!
- Mist Deep Scrub onto the floor and allow it to sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Agitate using the mild scrub pad.
- Mop up the solution using the micro-fiber mop.
- Rinse thoroughly twice with small amount of water.
- Typical cost to use to prepare the floor with Deep Scrub: 2 cents/square foot.
Use pH: 10.5 undiluted.
LamanatorPlus Laminate Restoration helps to coat joints and hides minor scratches. Can be used on laminate flooring, re-finished & urethane hardwood floors. Laminate Restoration is designed to be the second step in bringing laminate flooring back to a showroom shine. Restoring floors could not be simpler. Helps to protect the original laminate surface and makes flooring much easier to clean.
To use Laminate Restoration, simply:
- Clean and prepare the floors with Deep Scrub.
- Mist Restoration onto both the floors and a cloth micro-fiber mop.
- Spread Restoration evenly with mop.
- Allow to dry for 30 minutes between coats!
- Apply 2 coats for best results. For a super high gloss finish, apply 4 to 5 coats.
- Allow 2-3 hours to dry before moving furniture. Full curing is 12 hours.
- Protect all floors with coasters or felt pads.
- Typical cost to use: 3 cents/square foot/coat.
- Typical cost of Deep Scrub and Lamanator Restoration to prepare the floor and apply 2 coats of LaminatorPlus: only 8 cents per square foot!

Protect from Freezing!
After applying LamanatorPlus Laminate Restoration, use LamanatorPlus Buff Dry Cleaner and Revitalizer, a specially formulated neutral cleaner designed to eliminate surface residue while also preventing a cloudy film. It does not require rinsing. After the floor dries, it also "revitalizes" it, enhancing the color and shine. Does not streak or leave a film.
To use LamanatorPlus Buff Dry Cleaner and Revitalizer, simply:
- Sweep floor clean using a microfiber mop.
- Clean microfiber mop before using the Buff Dry Cleaner.
- Mist Buff Dry Cleaner onto floor and simply buff dry.
- Protect all floors with coasters or felt pads.
Use pH: 10 - 11 undiluted.
Dilution: Undiluted.
