Shampoo Without Browning
- Haitian Cotton is a fabric made entirely of short staple cotton fiber. The fibers are not thoroughly processed, leaving contaminants such as cottonseeds in the yarn. The seeds and other contaminants readily bleed during wet cleaning resulting in a brown stain that is very difficult to remove.
- This unique product has been specially formulated to clean Haitian and Tahitian cotton upholstery without browning the cotton - a problem that often occurs following the use of ordinary shampoos.
- A non-ionic, slightly acidic shampoo detergent designed to prevent browning on Haitian and natural cotton upholstery.
- Contains reducing bleach, high-foam shampoo detergent, solvent, builders, and water softening agents.
- Gentle but effective shampoo agglomerates soils, making them easy to vacuum or wipe away.
- Will Correct Haitian or Tahitian cotton which has been browned from ordinary shampoos.

DIRECTIONS:
- Inspect furniture for mars, tears, worn areas, sunfading, excess soil, spots, water-marks and overall condition.
- Make a record of all unusual furniture conditions.
- Add one quart (32 ounces) of Haitian Cotton Upholstery Shampoo to 1 gallon of cold water (4:1 dilution).
- Whip solution into a foam.
- Dip sponge in foamy solution and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area and let dry completely. If test results are positive, continue to shampoo upholstery using standard industry techniques.
- Pre-test in an inconspicuous area.
- Pre-vacuum entire piece of furniture thoroughly.
- To 1 gallon of warm water add 32 ounces of Haitian Cotton Upholstery Shampoo. Whip solution into a foam.
- With a sponge squeezed of excess moisture, use a back and forth motion in the direction of the fabric warp applying shampoo to a small area. Immediately wipe area with a clean, white, dry towel to absorb moisture, or use the vacuum system of any carpet extractor.
Proper drying time is the key to successful Haitian Cotton cleaning.
Use Concentration: 32 ounces to 1 gallon water.
Coverage: Up to 2,400 sq. ft. per gallon.
Use pH: 5.0 –6.0
