Electra-Shield™
Anti- Static
Static Control for Carpet
from Bane-Clene®
Static electricity is more noticeable during periods of low humidity and higher temperature.
Most anti-static compounds are cationic and cannot be used on stain-resistant nylon carpet.
The carpet manufacturer can add a carbon composite nylon filament or a metallic filament into the bundle of yarn and backing material to dissipate the static charge.
Olefin fiber inherently generates very low levels of static electricity.
Electra-Shield eliminates static electricity on freshly cleaned carpets. This concentrated liquid product eradicates - for weeks and even months at a time - jolts or shocks of static electricity experienced by walking on a carpet and then touching a metal object. Electra-Shield causes the electrical charge to be grounded through the carpet. It is a blend of multi-functional cationic surfactants, coupling agents, and other conductive static control agents.
Especially effective in computer rooms, Electra-Shield has become a popular plus sales item for businesses where large expanses of carpet tend to build up static electricity.
Electra-Shield contains no sticky dirt-attracting ingredients, glycol, wax, fat, oil, metals, phosphates, NTA, and, unlike similar products, does NOT contain alumina or silica.
