Descaler for Carpet Cleaning Truck-mounts

Powdered formulation. Inhibitor helps protect steel components.

Directions:

  • Drain one-fourth of solution tank and reheat to 180 degrees F.
  • Pre-dissolve 2 lbs Descaler by slowly sprinkling while stirring into a 5-gallon pail. 5 lbs may be required for severe scale formation.
  • Add to solution tank.
  • Drive the truck for at least one mile to allow the solution to "slosh" around in the tank and loosen the scale.
  • Drain solution.
  • Rinse tank with water.
  • Fill tank with water and add detergent solution to neutralize the acid.
  • Circulate cleaning solution at least 5 minutes to ensure complete neutralization of the acid.
  • Flush out the solution tank and recharge.

Use pH: 1

NOTE: May corrode brass, aluminum and other metal components.
