CTI Pro’s Choice Rust Away

Pro’s Choice Rust Away is very fast acting to quickly and completely remove rust from nearly any surface. Quickly converts rust to a colorless substance that can be easily rinsed away. Removal is safe, simple and economical. Just apply to rust, agitate and rinse clean.

Rust Away does not contain hazardous hydrofluoric acid.

We strongly suggest that you practice on some carpet scraps to develop the technique before using the product and technique on a customer’s carpet.

Directions:

  1. Extraction rinse the area first to remove any possible contaminants.
  2. Apply Rust Away directly to the rust stain.
  3. Agitate treated fibers gently with bone spatula or short bristled brush.
  4. Allow approximately 1 minute dwell time.
  5. Blot clean.

Use Concentration: Undiluted.

Use pH: 3

CAUTION: Removal of some of the carpet dye is always possible in this type of system!
Do not use on natural fibers.
Always test an inconspicuous area for color fastness before using.
