Chemspec Coffee Stain Remover

Chemspec® Coffee Stain Remover & Browning Treatment covers up to 600 sq. ft. per gallon. Ready-to-use. An exclusive formulation for safe, easy removal of coffee and other tannin stains as well as browning treatment. Just spray on problem area, rake in, blot any excess with a white towel, and follow with extraction with an alkaline detergent. Works on new and old, stubborn stains. Contains sodium metabisulfite reducing bleach.

Directions:

For use on carpets if browning has already occurred:

  1. Do not dilute. Use product as it comes from the container.
  2. Pre-test carpet for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area.
  3. Apply product using a chemical resistant sprayer. DO NOT MIST. Apply uniformly to the affected area.
  4. Brush in with pile brush.
  5. Allow to work until browning is removed or intensity is reduced. Blot (do not rub) with a clean, dry white cloth to remove excess moisture.

For use on upholstery if browning has already occurred:

  1. Do not dilute. Use product as it comes from the container.
  2. Pre-test upholstery for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area.
  3. Apply product using a chemical resistant sprayer. DO NOT MIST. Apply uniformly to the affected area.
  4. Allow to work until browning is removed or intensity is reduced. Blot (do not rub) with a clean, dry white cloth to remove excess moisture.
  5. Extract while applying a fine spray of a neutral detergent.

For use as a coffee stain remover:

  1. Do not dilute. Use product as it comes from the container.
  2. Pre-test carpet for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area.
  3. Clean spot with a neutral detergent.
  4. Apply product using a chemical resistant sprayer (coarse spray) or moisten the area using a clean, white cloth. DO NOT MIST.
  5. Spray product onto stain or moisten the area with a clean, white cloth.
  6. Allow to dry completely.
  7. Make a second application, if necessary.
  8. (Each must be done on thoroughly dry carpet.)
  9. Apply the product.
  10. Immediately apply Absorb-A-Stain per directions.

For large coffee spills (i.e., whole cup or coffee pot):

  1. Blot up excess, then clean area with Neutral Detergent.
  2. Apply product
  3. Immediately apply Absorb-A-Stain per directions
  4. Allow drying overnight. Then, vacuum thoroughly.
  5. Make a second application, if necessary.

Use Concentration: Undiluted

Coverage: Up to 600 sq. ft. per gal.

Use pH: 4 - 5
