Many carpet manufacturers publish Bane-Clene’s toll-free 800 number in maintenance literature. Some publish Bane-Clene’s number in warranty information and others simply suggest that consumers call for Bane-Clene’s "How to Care for Your Carpet" brochure or the “Selecting a Professional Carpet Cleaner” brochure.

Mill claims representatives use the Referral Network to solve problems and often recommend that their clients “call ’us’ on the carpet®.” Solving warranty and other problems opens doors for continued customer relations.

Carpet retailers use the network for two reasons. Many give Bane-Clene’s toll-free telephone number to their customers. Some call for the name of a Bane-Clene certified company to work for them and their customers. Hundreds of Bane-Clene systems owners have become affiliated with successful carpet retailers in very profitable business relationships.

Consumers call Bane-Clene as a result of the informative Web site on the Internet. Many consumer calls are the direct result of a referral from a carpet mill, carpet retailer, claims representative, insurance adjuster or other third-party source.

The requirements for using Bane-Clene's copyrighted material, registered trademarks, brochures & advertising programs and Membership in the Referral Network are:

  • Sign an "Advertising Agreement". Ask a customer service representative for the advertising agreement or download it! It is your license to use the federally registered trademarks and copyrighted material in Bane-Clene's advertising program. There is no charge for this license. Read, complete, sign and submit it and you will be part of the best referral network in the industry.
  • Promote carpet & upholstery cleaning using Bane Clene Systems. Use your best efforts to achieve customer satisfaction The Bane-Clene Way®.
  • Manager or owner attend Bane-Clene Institute for certification. If you have employees, they may be certified via video taped program so you will not have the expense of sending them to school.
  • Do not modify or misuse the advertising material. You may add personal information but may not delete any of the art or copy material in the ads.
  • You are automatically part of the "Referral Network." Be sure to fill out the zip code areas you wish to service and give it to your service representative.
  • It is suggested that you have an internet link to Bane-Clene's "Locator Service" *
